SEASALT (South East Students Autonomously Living Together) is a 7-member student housing co-operative in Brighton who have been living in their property since September 2021. The co-operative was founded in spring 2018 following students union elections at the University of Sussex and feasibility discussions in Brighton. Their goal is to create affordable, high-quality housing for students and run by students. The house is leased from Brighton & Hove Community Land Trust and was funded through a community share offer raising £336,000.
