The disabled students’ caucus is a group bringing together students in the co-op movement who self-identify as disabled.
The main goal of the caucus is to create a space for people to share their experiences around disability in co-ops and to raise awareness of disability issues in the wider co-op movement. We organise regular online meetings and socials where disabled people in co-ops can connect with each other and discuss various topics surrounding accessibility and disability rights.
The caucus welcomes all students who self-identify as disabled, this includes but is not limited to those with physical disabilities, experiences of mental illness, chronic or invisible health conditions, and neurodivergence.
